JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing Finance Team and responsible for overall finance management of the Group (holding company & subsidiaries) relating to operational financial control, accounting, cash management, treasury management, budgeting, tax planning & tax compliance.
- Responsible for timely submission for monthly, quarterly and annually of group financial reports and announcements in accordance with Bursa listing and regulatory requirements.
- Well-verse with Group’s consolidated financial reporting.
- Responsible for internal audit, internal control system, tax planning and risk management of the Group.
- Liaison with external parties such as internal & external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary and other statutory bodies or authorities.
- Responsible for all others matters related to the Group listing, corporate planning and corporate finance & corporate governance matters, Annual Report, CG & Sustainability Report and Risk Management.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or professional qualification, e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIPA and member of MIA.
- Preferably at least 5 years working experience in Public Listed Company.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, analytical skills and regulatory requirements and development with hands-on management.
- Excellent communication skills especially verbal and written in English.
- Experience in Corporate Exercises will be an advantage.
