JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

This role is for a middle marketing professional to lead the Marketing in the APAC region.

Responsible for developing and driving all areas of channel marketing to support growing the channel & business, in alignment with the Company's Lighting channel strategy across APAC.

You will be developing marketing strategies and go-to-market plans to drive awareness, preference, consideration and purchase for the Company's Lighting products. 

You will also be involved in the strategic planning for all marketing programs and activities, aligning with the business to drive demand for the Company's Lighting products for B2B customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create market pull for the Company's products across the region and customers.
  • Develop annual marketing plan in consultation with Head of PM based on local market requirements and sales revenue target.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders and Product Managers, support quarterly sales pipeline and revenue goals by developing and executing relevant demand generation initiatives - including NPI, channel programs, events, webinars, digital demand gen, email marketing for customers & prospects, social media, account-based marketing, and customer references.
  • Adapt global campaigns into the local market with a strong understanding of business needs and re-purposing relevant marketing assets to support channel and field sales team.  Proactive planning on local events/webinars; execute and tracking of pipelines.
  • Monitor the competitive environment, stay connected on top trends and industry dynamics to continually define relevant opportunities and recommendations to drive the business.
  • Manage marketing budget; allocation to country, channels/customers, optimize for long term returns and ensure campaign hygiene in pipe drive and hold regular reviews with Head of PM, Product Manager and sales team.
  • Develop subject matter expertise within marketing about the segment - including customers/consumers, trends, applications, influencers, partners, channels, ecosystems, competitors, purchasing behaviours, and all other relevant business aspects of the segment in your local/regional markets.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date marketing tools for the field sales team to promote our products and solution, such as print & digital product catalogue/brochure, pitching video presentation & slide, social media marketing and etc for the region.
  • Be accountable for all marketing assets/creative, concepts, campaigns and tools selection or requirements in your markets.  Drive innovative content, use cases, stories and tools that resonate and drive preference for Davis products with marketers and customers across the market segment. Work with Product Managers & field sales team to develop and adapt to local market conditions.
  • Set marketing performance metrics to measure performance in tangible and intangible results.
  • Performing any other tasks as and when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 or more years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years in channel or B2B marketing;
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in social, digital and online marketing;
  • Relevant Degree preferably in marketing, engineering – E&E, business, communications or relevant;
  • Strong competence in marketing, channel, branding and strategy at regional or local level;
  • Energetic, out of the box thinker, action and results-oriented;
  • Experience with working through organizational complexities in a large corporate environment with multi-cultural and multi-regional international teams;
  • Strong operational aptitude – demonstrate the ability to set up or streamline processes, aligning with the organization and business goals;
  • Excellent communication/written and presentation skills;
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Marketing Analytics.
