JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Manage Industrial Relations matters to ensure compliance with the statutory rules and regulations to safeguard Company’s interest.
- Plan and manage Employee Relations programmes/events and initiatives to create harmonious relationships and a conducive working environment amongst employees and the management.
- Maintaining close working relationships with Government Authorities and related third parties on employment matters.
- Provide practical, consistent and proactive support, direction and advice on HR procedure, policy, best practice, rewards and benefits to facilitate in achieving the company’s objective.
- Manage the applications of the disciplinary process and ensure that they are in line with the applicable Employment and Labour Law and Company’s policies, rules and regulations.
- Ensure effective and timely case management in accordance with applicable policies and processes, and contribute to trend and statistics reporting.
- Handling complaints and managing grievance procedures.
- Advise Employees and Leaders on relevant labour laws, Company policies and procedures related to employee misconduct, poor performance and grievances.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law, Human Resources Management, Business Studies or related discipline.
- At least 15 years of working experience specializing in Industrial Relations & Employee Relations. Experience in Change Management will be an added advantage.
- Well versed with Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act 1959 and current Labour Law practices.
- Ability to handle Industrial Relations matters relating to employee discipline, domestic inquiries and grievances.
- Possess experience in other HR fields ie. Recruitment, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits will be added advantages.
