JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
In this role, you will assist the MarCom DIrector in improving the product’s marketing campaigns, e-commerce marketing strategies and overseeing the performance marketing and CRM activities to acquire new customers and retain existing customers and execute all marketing tasks and product launches to achieve sales targets.
The role will allow you to experiment with new ideas, push new boundaries and be at the forefront of the ever-changing E-Commerce landscape.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the digital marketing team in developing content strategy and implementing SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) best practices across all relevant digital channels.
- Working closely with marketing, brand team and merchandiser, and other relevant departments to develop a product launch & marketing strategies to achieve goal by increasing sales during slow season, increase average order value month to month/peak season, increase email marketing conversion rates month to month basis.
- Sales and profit forecasts by analysing marketing performance of key products mix categories and responsible for forecasts of new products and existing products line.
- Using Spreadsheets or Excel (i.e pivot tables) in addition to web analytics to stay organised and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the marketing & retail teams to strategize, plan, manage and execute short, mid to long term strategies that would drive growth & loyalty across multiple categories in the business while building the emotional connection with customers.
- Work closely with the marketing team and agencies in developing consumer acquisition strategies
- Expand customer base by upselling and cross-selling programme/plan
- Manage e-commerce overseas expansion account
- Enhance the customer experience, “know-how” of UI/UX
- Remain commercially aware by researching competitors with regards to new products and activities
- Able to Use analytics, define targeting and consumer segment acquisition strategies. Track, monitor and deliver campaign performance in collaboration with agencies to increase traffic, brand presence and GMV (Gross Merchandise Value)
- Forecast, manage and optimise paid ads conversion budget to ensure the best return on ad spend
- Work closely with the performance marketing team to lead through the funnel in customer acquisition through paid & organic activities.
- Ensure paid social and display advertising are integrated with all marketing channels to maximise performance
- Leverage existing platforms and build new digital initiatives to engage, retain and grow loyal customers database
Requirements
- At least 4 years of proven experience in performance-based digital marketing with a track record of driving new customer acquisition, sales conversion and retaining existing customers.
- Proven digital marketing experience in a retail and/or e-commerce environment
- Strong understanding of online content, conversion optimisation, social media and digital marketing
- Expert in paid media platforms and understanding of media planning and buying process
- Experienced in optimising performance marketing strategies and campaigns across search, affiliate, retargeting, paid social, CRM, SEO and programmatic channels
- Strong experience in paid search and managing agencies
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in running CRM and loyalty campaigns
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
