Summary

Energy Components Global Solutions is a product suite developed by Our Client for the Oil and Gas industry. It monitors business processes for the production, transport and sales of oil and gas, and facilitates collaboration between license holders in oil fields around the world.

Our Client also offers the Industry standards for oil companies’ operations of personal transport, logistics and safety.

Primary Accountabilities and Deliverables

• Build, operate and support the company's O&G cloud environments within the agreed SLAs
• Respond to support requests via tickets and collaboration tools within response time SLAs
• Troubleshoot performance degradation or loss of service as time-critical incidents
• Building customer solutions, leveraging automation and delivery mechanisms for efficiency and scalability
• Ownership of issues, including collaboration with other teams and escalations
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members
• Works on rotational 24/7 shifts

• More than five (5) years in the relevant fields.

Essential skills and attributes:

• AWS
• Deep understanding of AWS Global Infrastructure and key services
• AWS Infrastructure monitoring and management
• AWS service/product experience/understanding – AWS CloudWatch, AWS GuardDuty, EC2, RDS, ELB, AWS Config, CloudFront
• Scripting and Automation
• Competence using lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible
• Experience in Powershell/Bash/Python scripting
• Connectivity and Security
• Experience in design and implementation of VPC, AWS VPN and/or AWS Direct Connect
• AWS site to site connectivity design development and implementation – with security in top priority
• Sound understandings of VPN protocols, firewalls, routing configurations, secure connectivity solutions
• Basic understanding of security best practices
• The ability to make trade-off decisions with regard to cost, security, and deployment complexity is given a set of application requirements.
• Design and Implementation
• Experience in designing and implementing high-availability solutions in AWS
• Backup/failover connectivity solution design development and implementation
• Responsible for every customer onboarding (network design and implementation)
• Training and Certifications
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or SysOps Administrator Associate
• Advanced Networking Speciality or Security Speciality, other AWS certificates
• Understanding of ITIL
• Others
• Experience in mentoring junior team members

Additional Preferred experience

• Certifications in network and cyber security
• Understanding of Deep Security
• Knowledge of configuration & integration of tools like Datadog, PagerDuty
• Process compliance as per SOC2 requirements
