JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities 

• Plan, coordinate and execute all M&E projects' site work for MNC Semiconductor industrial Tool Install Progressive Build (TIPB) project & Small Project General Contractor (SPGC) Project.
• Able to work independently and lead a team of junior engineers/site & safety supervisors to ensure proper project execution in each project phase, meeting the project deadlines, quality budget, and reasonable profit.
• Prepare method of statements (MOS), installation, Inspection Test Plan to the assigned system and ensure work executed based on MOS, Shop Drawings and Schedule and in compliance with respective industrial Material Construction Specification.
• Manage the implementation of project activities including project execution at site for Mechanical or Electrical distribution system, HVAC, cleanroom, process utility system etc.
• Able to check and prepare construction shop drawings etc. and able to explain the drawing requirement to subordinates and clients. 
• Review and ensure M&E design drawings and specifications on the functionality, practicality, constructability, and communicate with the design team for any issue and proposed value-engineering aspects are complied with. 
• Work together with the internal QAQC team and Client QAQC team For Material Receiving Inspection, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) & Closed Site Observation Record (SOR) and punch list on time. 
• Able to update for As Built drawing and prepare Handover document.
• To liaise with client (PM, System Owners, Area Owners, Tools Owners). consultants, sub-contractors, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Manage & coordinate with sub-contractors for site survey, space management, site activities to meet the project milestones.
• Proactively identify and resolve work disputes on site.
• Work together with safety personnel to ensure site safety requirements are adhered to and accomplish zero Interruption To production (ITP) & Near Miss Incident/Accident.
• Able to preform site assessment to identify the risks & hazards and propose corrective actions to prevent Interruption To production (ITP) & Near Miss Incident/Accident.
• Comply with the relevant government applicable laws, acts, regulations, legal demands, and company business ethical standards.
• Adherence to all company & government (DOSH) Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and comply with MNC Semiconductor industrial RBA, CSR, Clean room protocols and EHS Minimum Performance requirement (MPR).
• Attend daily WPRB meetings, toolbox meetings.
• Attend BAR Meetings, SMBWA, OAC Meetings and Design review meetings if required.
• Must be able to prepare Request for Information (RFI) for any changes of specifications and prepare technical presentations to Clients.
• Report to a Project Manager/Construction Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience,  preferably in the MNC Semiconductor industrial field. 
• Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia both in writing and communication
• Computer literate and proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS.Excel and AutoCAD
• Intermediate Knowledge of Civil/Structural Engineering/Architecture is a must.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project would be an advantage.
• Must possess a valid CIDB Green card
