JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
A business partner for the regional staff and to provide smooth operational and strategic support for the entire SEA + ANZ region. This position reports to the Regional HR Director - SEAP.
Responsibilities
- Act as HR BP role for Regional team by managing, administering and providing high-quality HR services to Regional VP, HODs and team so that it has the right people and competence to support business activities and growth.
- Promote employee engagement by planning and co-ordinating various activities/events for the Regional team to improve retention and engagement.
- Act as Regional HRMS, responsible for ensuring high-quality data and use as effective business tool for local HR
- Control and act as reference point for Mobility in the region and responsible to train/develop local HR to be competent in handling mobility cases to promote Dynamic Workforce in Company while having the ability to apply practical solutions by having good understanding of local laws, practices and culture.
- Support Regional HR Director in handling HR matters (HR Policies / HR Review and local HR competence/support, etc.) to local companies in the region in accordance to Company’s policy, values and business needs to recruit, retain and develop Company’s employees to achieve continuous business growth and profitability.
- Assist Regional HR director to establish an effective and efficient HR infrastructure mainly in accordance to Regional and Group guidelines, run regional HR projects, i.e. Employee Engagement Survey, Employer Branding, etc., and to support local companies related to HR systems and platforms as and when needed.
- Conduct HR review in local units to ensure Global HR concepts are holding high standards and implemented and maintained in a consistent manner.
- Initiate, participate and coordinate various regional HR projects, by coordinating with local HR Managers, to ensure quality and timely projects implementation.
- Support and coach local HR Managers and HR teams to develop key HR concepts, principles, projects and systems and ensure that they are implemented and used as intended in the local units.
- Act as a buddy with Regional HR and Competence Development Manager in daily operational task by coordinating with the relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth and seamless operation in the team
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience of HR Business Partnering
- Proficient in HRMS (Workday) and Microsoft Office
- Fluent oral and written in English is essential
- Good stakeholder management skills
