JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
As a key support person on the accounting system for the regional team, this role supports key reports including changes for month-end reporting/budgeting/system changes/updates. Responsible for tabulating financial month-end data reports and analyses. Responsible for supporting ad hoc analysis requests.
Responsibilities:
Month End Management Reporting
- Tabulate and prepare month-end business performance reports, monthly Asia summary reports; month-end group data analysis and presentation slides
- Support ad hoc consolidation of data as requested by stakeholders.
Forecast / Budget
- Prepare and support communication of budget process to the countries team.
- Preparation of the budget template including BS; PL; CF prior to releasing to countries
- Support in consolidation budget management accounts
System / Technical Support
- As a system administrator for the accounting system – Microsoft dynamic GP
i) User setting and access
ii) Key maintenance of chart of accounts; designing reporting format for Asia Entities
iii) Support Ad-hoc system / process improvement
- Support users in accounting upload/changes as and when necessary, for example, changes in IFRSs etc
- Support contact between the company and accounting support vendor
- Support month-end closing/year-end closing with the users
Others
- Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the superior
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in the related field with regional exposure in a multinational environment
- PC literate and MUST be very familiar with Excel Spreadsheet. Familiar with System setting and understanding of report designing
