POSITION DETAILS

POSITION TITLE            In-Store Operations Executive

DIVISION                         Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition

FUNCTIONAL AREA      Sales

LINE MANAGER             In-Store Operation Manager

LOCATION                      2 positions 1) The Gardens and 2) Penang Distributor office

JOB PURPOSE

Assist line manager to achieve excellence in-store operations. Assist to manage team of merchandisers to deliver effective merchandising service that support business needs. Continue search for learnings and opportunities in-store to contribute to development of sales execution plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Working with internal and external stakeholders 

Work closely with CCD, Area Offices, and merchandisers to coordinate to ensure smooth execution in-store. Trade execution planning with CCD/Marketing. Meet and build rapport with retailers.

Merchandiser team management 

Assist to manage merchandiser team. Deliver effective merchandising service at optimum level and within budget. Assist to develop guideline and training material for merchandiser

Strategic Business Planning  

Continue search for opportunities to improve in-store execution. Take learnings in trade and add value to business strategy planning from in-store operations perspective.

KEY CHALLENGES

Working with internal stakeholders

•  Communicate with Area Offices/merchandisers on POSM execution guideline

•  Coordinate to make sure preparation prior execution done as per timeline

•  Assist to deploy execution plan to merchandisers

•  Meet and build rapport with retailers to improve operation process.

Merchandiser team management

•  Assist to manage merchandiser team daily operation to fulfil business needs

•  Assist to manage merchandiser remuneration and contract

•  Assist to develop guideline and training material for merchandiser

•  Assist to train merchandisers on new process or procedure

Strategic Business Planning

•  Assist to drive excellence in-store execution initiatives

•  Continue pick up learnings from trade and bring back to add value to business

Competitor Intelligence

•  Update competitor intelligence and input into required template

•  Feedback any threats from competitions detected in-store

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Education    Possess recognized Diploma/degree or equivalent

Experience    Minimum 1 year FMCG operation

Specialist Knowledge  Knowledge of e-mail, Internet, MS-Office, mobile Apps
