JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose

To oversee a range of day-to-day critical Human Resource functions to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of service. To develop and implement short- and long-term People and Culture-strategies related to the recruitment, retention, engagement and development of talent to contribute to the achievement of the Company’s goals and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a range of HR functions and processes, including:
    • Executive and Non-executive recruitment.
    • Payroll and Medical claims administration.
    • Government and legal compliance.
    • Confirmations, resignations, and disciplinary related matters.
    • Key Priorities and Performance Appraisal system management.
    • Staff welfare.
    • Foreign worker administration.
    • Internal communications.
    • Health and safety.
    • Facilities management.
    • Other related administrative matters.
  • Develop and execute an overarching people strategy with an emphasis on attraction and retention so as to ensure the Company has the talent necessary to achieve its objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective culture strategy so as to contribute to the achievement of the Company’s vision.
  • Develop or recommend effective training strategies related to all levels of employees within the company.
  • Develop and implement policies and supporting frameworks to ensure human resource related functions and issues are effectively managed and optimised.
  • Develop and implement strategies and programs to gauge and promote employee engagement and participation.
  • Provide reliable, useful and timely expertise and advice in relation to a broad range of human resource-related disciplines.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the workforce-related environment, opportunities and threats, along with external industry trends, best practice human resource strategies and legislative changes.
