JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

In partnership with the corporate leadership, the role develops, directs, plans, implements and evaluates a broad spectrum of employee development processes and activities to drive a high-performance culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Developing global processes to identify and develop leadership and key talent encompassing high performers and high potentials
  • Partnering with key stakeholders within and outside of HR in the development and enhancement of integrated talent development/talent management/ L&D processes from an enterprise perspective
  • Developing, maintaining and reporting integrated talent development/talent management metrics
  • Leading executive succession management processes
  • Leading enterprise performance management processes
  • Facilitating and executing global employee opinion survey processes
  • Identifying and guiding employee development curriculum through various career paths through on-the-job experiential learning, networking and formal learning programs
  • Developing and effectively managing the enterprise learning and development university
  • Evaluating and overseeing contractors and vendors to supplement the development and administration of talent development programs and processes
  • Working with other functions (e.g. manufacturing, engineering, operations, I.T., etc.) to ensure talent development processes and learning programs are consistently implemented across the enterprise
  • Initiating visits to multiple worksites /locations (domestically and internationally) to confirm the effectiveness of the enterprise talent development processes and programs, as necessary

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development or Organization Development.
  • A recognized expert who provides extensive advice and assistance on significant matters in the area of speciality.
  • Requires expert mastery of principles and practices in the area of speciality
  • Assumes role of program/process owner setting the strategy & protocol for program(s)/process(es)
  • Leads most complex projects & programs in the area of speciality
  • Exercises latitude in determining objectives with a review of work for long-term results
