JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
You will be responsible for managing and supporting technical pre-sales and account management activities for System Integrators, End Users & Customers and the broader RFID ecosystem across ASEAN. You will also handle project management for technically complex requirements, participate in technical field testing and troubleshoot customer issues.
Responsibilities
- You will drive developmental pilots in target segments from conceptualization to commercialization.
- You will also provide high-level technical support to the broader Asia Pacific commercial Intelligent Labels team with a primary focus on managing the quick resolution of quality issues and technical troubleshooting related matters.
- You will be based in Kajang.
- You will report to Senior Business Development Manager - Intelligent Labels, who is based in SG and dotted line to Sales & Market Development Director APAC - Intelligent Labels, who is based in AUS.
- Technical pre-sales for projects with complex requirements, including product selection, recommendation and application field testing
- Handle project management for customization projects
- Interface with internal product and R&D teams for the latest product developments
- Handle customer issues and complaints
- Conduct technical customer training sessions for systems integrators, converters and end-users
- Account management for selected sales accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8 years of strong RFID technical experience with a good understanding of UHF, HF and NFC RFID
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
- Communicates in a clear, objective, and confident manner with scalability to move to the next level in the coming years.
- Teamwork, leadership, and facilitation skills required to enable effective cross-functional collaboration and leverage.
- Able to travel throughout the region at short notice
