JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

  • Advise users on the functionality of our core applications, such as the Membership Management system, reporting system. Mobile application, facility management system, and sales system.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level application support for users in Asia.
  • Provide detailed troubleshooting and data analysis for incidents that are escalated to the 3rd level based in other regions.
  • Be able to write advanced SQL scripts to query data and rectify data in the SQL database.
  • Provide regular updates to users regarding the status of their issues.
  • Make configuration changes and account creations upon request.
  • Monitor key processes and escalate to appropriate teams/management when issues occur.
  • Work closely with ServiceDesk and the local IT team in the process of troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the resolution of ad hoc requests workarounds when required.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of technical and procedural documentation.
  • Support project teams in the system upgrades and enhancements

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT application support.
  • Advanced software troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL scripting.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services is an added advantage.
  • Experience in using incident management tools is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of IT supports standards and processes as well as service delivery best practices.
  • Good command in English verbal, presentation, and listening communications skills.
  • Previous experience as part of an applications support team or service desk is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to operate within a fast-moving and growing environment
  • The ability to be flexible, work under pressure, work to deadlines, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Self-starter, quick to learn, attention to detail, good time management, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to deal with people from various organizations and backgrounds locally, regionally, and globally
  • Candidates with regional exposure would be an added advantage.
  • The role may also require some international travel
