JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

As the ERP Business Analyst, your role is to support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation, provide end-user support, testing, training, and complex business analysis. 

Consult with appropriate staff and subject matter experts on financial reporting, business analysis, technical requirements, preparation of system integrations, and testing and implementation of the respective modules.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and documenting business requirements by use of interviews, workshops, site visits, task and workflow analysis
• Modeling business requirements and translating to application and operational requirements 
• Good functional and hands-on knowledge in ERP systems and experienced in supporting operation and business in a manufacturing and multiple-site environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related application issues, determine appropriate actions, discuss actions with stakeholders, implement, review, and test approved activities for desired outcomes.
• Test and implement software updates, new system functionality, report development, and queries.
• Document process changes, and communicate effectively with users and vendors; create training documents and facilitate training sessions for end-users.
• Full cycle experience in implementing ERP systems or upgrades is an added advantage.
• Design and creating BI reports and provide technical assistance to end-users for reporting
• Able to work with different levels of people from cross-functional teams to proactively identify areas of improvement within all disciplines of the company
• Provide system training to end-users and other relevant staffs
• Estimates the cost of requirements and their feasibility
• Require some level of traveling within the APAC region 
• Provide 1st and 2nd level supports for business and operation teams
• Participate in change management activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management or equivalent;
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in hands-on design, analysis and providing solutions for ERP systems 
• Experience in ERP implementation or upgrades working with external ERP vendors
• Experience in the manufacturing industry with strong business process acumens and knowledge.
• Experience in supporting businesses and operations in a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, data analysis and attention to details;
• Must be able to multi-task and project manage many tasks simultaneously;
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
• Fluent in English, Malay, and Chinese language.  Fluency in other regional languages is a plus.
