JOB DESCRIPTION
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 5 Years of working experience in a related field is required for this position in the area of end-user support, system, and network administration.
- Required Skill(s): Microsoft operating systems and applications, VMware, networking, wireless and security, Microsoft Office applications, Google applications, PC hardware, MS Windows operating systems, Project Management, Strong communication & customer relations skills
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent.
- Incident Management: Support and management of Penang & Thailand IT Infrastructure. To provide timely response to internally raised incidents/problems for all faults and working to predefined SLAs & KPIs. Coordinate with the helpdesk team or other support group to close the incident. Ability to work under pressure situations
- Project Management: Be able to communicate effectively with all levels of Business and IT users clearly to project manage and deliver timely and cost-effective infrastructure projects and changes to ensure the provision of corporately aligned and supported technologies
- Strategic Management: Innovatively support the proactive planning, reporting, and execution of infrastructure growth for Penang and Thailand
- Change Management: Perform move, add or delete changes on the network/server/voice infrastructure as per standard change process in coordination with the Shared Services Teams
- Asset Management: Maintain & manage the IT related assets
- Follow the corporate IT policies & procedures and compliant to internal audit and SOX audit requirement;
- Analyze new customer requirement, and project manage implementation timelines to ensure seamless integration for Penang & Thailand Plants
- Business alignment, Working with business process owners and end-users to establish sufficient levels of detailed requirements which must be satisfied by the proposed system
- Vendor Management: Co-ordination with Vendors for procurement and maintenance
- Customer Management: Manage users' perceptions and expectations. Be customer focus and provide a high level of service delivery and support
