JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Collaborate, participate and engage with users/departments in the software development lifecycle to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain projects.
- Collaborate with Product Managers/Architects on establishing requirements and overall design.
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with the team members and other affected parties.
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
- Provide third-level support to business users.
- Review and write project-related technical documentations.
- Keep abreast of relevant technologies and happenings.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Must have at least 5 years of software development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework
- Prior experience in a technical leadership position
- Must have at least 2 years of experience developing full-stack web applications
- Proven skills in C#, SQL Server, JavaScript/DHTML, HTML-CSS, AJAX, JQuery, Web Services etc.
- Familiar with any of the following skillsets/areas: TypeScript, XNA, React, JavaScript
- Knowledgeable in OS, Middleware and Database
- Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
- Experience with automated testing
- Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems and processes.
- The job might require the candidate to travel locally and overseas.
