JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
To facilitate the support of SAP SD within the Interflour Group. Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document end-user requirements.
Job Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in full implementation and supporting SAP SD – design, implement and deploy SAP SD modules.
- Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configuration, writing detail specifications for the development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transport to production, and post-go-live support.
- Experience in S/4HANA working environment will be an added advantage.
- Ability to accept and promote changes within the organization
- Ability to stay self-motivated and have a passion to win
- Ability to demonstrate and cultivate a sense of urgency and commitment
- Ability to demonstrate a drive for results
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel extensively during project implementation
- Willingness to work within strict deadlines with the flexibility and dedication to work longer business hours, including weekends
Job Responsibilities
- Handling & coordinating with SD Business Lead for all ongoing projects, issues, change requests, processes.
- Experience with SAP SD processes like transport management & logistics, credit management, shipment and shipment cost documents, weighbridge, proof of delivery and billing, Intercompany STO, delivery Invoice, MIGO, MIRO and reconciliation of accounts, etc.
- Experience in transportation processes such as transportation planning, tendering, carrier management, freight payment.
- Experience in SAP Transportation functionality around shipment planning, shipment execution, shipment costing and shipment cost documents.
- Strong understanding of LE Shipping functionality with integration to SD and MM.
- Complete configuration for the Creation of Routes, Plants and STO process both from SD and MM.
- Strong configuration and design skills required.
- Creation and changes of Credit management and pricing workflow.
- Creation of LSMW and data uploading through it.
- To resolve issues proactively having SD integration with other modules like FI, CO, PP, QM, MM and PM.
- Provides functional Specification creation for all the Z requirements and changes.
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
- Map business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy the requirements in consultation with SD head.
- Design, customize, configure and testing of all SD processes.
- Resolving issues and doing changes in SAP related to integration with interfaces.
- Master data creation/updating or extension of customer master and material master.
- Document functional designs, test cases and results.
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
- Providing consultation and helping in resolving the issues of other modules.
- Handling tickets and closure of tickets as per the SLA in the Helpdesk tool.
- Strong understanding of design and configuration of pricing structure, procedure, etc.
- To perform and discharge promptly and efficiently any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by immediate superior.
