JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

This is a project manager role that maintains and manages projects including project scope, costs, schedule and contractual deliverables. The person is to:-

• Lead the operations transformation
• Deliver expected business benefits leveraging CAMSTAR MES system
• Manage change in an effective fashion

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Establish project management framework and apply techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
• Engage project sponsors, owners and project resources including subcontractors
• Manage project scope and make sure it is within the project timeline
• Requirement gathering with stakeholders and perform necessary documentation
• Assist in change management activities
• Provide day to day direction to the project team and provide regular project status update to the relevant stakeholders
• Carry out project post-implementation audit
• Oversee deliverables handover to accountable support teams
• Establish project prioritization methodology and matrices
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree. Degree in computer science, IT, project management or related field is an advantage
• Must have successfully led 2 complete operation transformation project lifecycles using an MES system. Preference for those who have done new CAMSTAR MES system implementation.
• Have good knowledge and hand on experience on project management, involving resources from multiple sites
• Good collaboration capability to work cross-functional global teams involving engineering, operations, quality, IT and others.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate at various levels within different functions across the organization (SVP, VP, Directors, senior managers, managers, supervisors, IT architect as examples)
• At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical experience and knowledge in SDLC
