JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- The position holder’s main responsibility will be to ensure successful operations of the ALM tool, as well as the connex software development tools (E.g. Jenkins, SonarQube)
- Active management and monitoring of the applications
- Part of the job will require application performance analysis and optimization (application server and database)
- The job role involves troubleshooting and incident management during outages, application monitoring, log review and analysis, and application debugging
- Requires active communication with stakeholders and provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server database design, programming knowledge (JDBC, SQL), Apache, Weblogic or WildFly Administration, and performance tuning.
- In-depth knowledge Java SE, JEE is a plus
- Source code management tool (SVN, Git), and tool administration/configuration
- Respond to internal customers promptly and competently
- Having experience in supporting a commercial software application, and in application monitoring
- Experience in the field of warehouse management systems, supply chain or logistics
- UNIX and Windows operating systems administration experience
- Proactively work to develop and maintain good working relationships within the department, company and customers
- 10% Travel internationally to local country-based offices
Requirements
- Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or any equivalent degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Software Development
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT Application Ownership
- Application Server experience (1 of): Apache, WebLogic, WildFly
- Excellent skills in problem solving and communication
- Deep knowledge of application integration
- Extended knowledge of databases and application server
- Strong Java (SE) Skills
- Understanding of Relational database concepts, architecture and SQL programming
- Fluency in English (written & verbal)
- Ability to produce high-quality work and results under pressure
