JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- To provide consultation, advice and recommendation to customers on product inquiries and application.
- To provide focus support to customers for all design-in activities.
- Focus support could involve customer visit, teleconference and quick email replies.
- Design-in activities could involve helping customers to review their hardware design & schematics, operating spec, mechanical spec, firmware settings etc.
- Responsible for managing and preparing customer samples, product demo kits & reference design to demonstrate and promote new product features.
- Work closely with Sales, FAE and also customer personnel by disseminating product technical knowledge.
- Work closely with the IC Design team and Product Engineering team to understand the product features, function, firmware key parameters and other detailed product specifications.
- Perform verification for new products prior to mass production release. Produce product documents such as data sheets, application notes, reference design guide and software documentation.
- To assist Marketing in accessing and exploring the potential new market applications to expand the company’s product portfolio.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Optical Encoder or motor system application experience is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of hardware debugging and troubleshooting is essential.
- Willing to work and interface with customers.
- Knowledgeable in CMOS & mixed-signal circuits, embedded system debugging & strong analytical skill will be advantageous.
- Good communication & presentation skills.
