JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
The Web Watch Analyst serves as a representative in analyzing, performing, and interpreting tests for our websites and implementing test plans and procedures. You will work with all business units to identify test and procedures for all websites and products.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for liaising with relevant stakeholders to design and collate testing standards per project/product, and ensures all testing standards are being met;
Ensure the Project Manager and Development Team are aware of the test strategy in place, which will include the different test plans (UAT, Functional, Usability), and conduct any walkthroughs of plans where necessary;
Define test process including required test activities and deliverables, and approve any test cases;
Identifies test resources, estimates test effort and defines test schedule and milestones in conjunction with relevant stakeholders, per project/product;
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure that technical resources are organized for effective support of testing;
As part of the Testing Team, act as the escalation point for issues involving testing;
Serves as a resource and communication point for decisions about test schedule changes;
Provide weekly status report, which includes testing metrics;
To liaise with all internal departments to achieve best practice with regard to all aspects of the TRG suite of products, as well as client’s products, and contribute ideas regarding potential commercial opportunities;
To prepare and submit relevant, appropriate, and timely reports as required;
To record and analyze all relevant data to continually improve the experience of website users;
Competitor awareness; benchmarking against competitors, assisting in devising cutting edge processes and systems, which continually challenge the marketplace;
Procurement and configuration of 3rd party services
Requirements
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, in both English and Mandarin (Simplified Chinese).
Must have at least 1 years experience in hands-on manual testing of web applications.
Experience with authoring test plans and test cases.
Good understanding of test methodologies, QA process and software release cycle.
Good analytical skills, e.g. drawing conclusions from noise data, graphs
Experience within the online gaming sector is a plus.
Detail-oriented and highly motivated self-starter that is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members.
Solid proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Ability to transmit information accurately and to pro-actively seek feedback; both in written and verbal correspondence.
Attention to detail is a must.
Chinese cultural fluency (PRC) is highly preferred.
