JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Desktop Support personnel
- Ensure support for Enterprise Desktop Support environment
- Laptop and desktop computing
- Connectivity Services (including Mobile phones, iPads, iPhones, Air cards, PABX, Remote Access, Local Area Network and Wide Area Network)
- Local site administration of infrastructure
- Manage service desk calls for all sites within the area of responsibility
- Manage site-specific IT projects (infrastructure)
- Ensure the site is aligned with all the enterprise standards and processes of the Client
- Maintain site-based inventory accuracy for infrastructure assets
- Ensure Security and Alignment with the Client's Standards / Compliance Requirements
- Manage day-to-day IT Services and the relationship with the Client at all levels
- Ensure the delivery of IT service to the business within agreed SLAs / SLOs including trending over time
Key Success Factors:
- Independent and able to handle user requests on time
- Have strong communication skills and teamwork with different levels of users as well as with various regional and global teams.
- Ability to work after office hours when required
- Ability to implement and control IT security in line with the Client's organizational standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Possess Bachelors of Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent/technical certification
- At least 3 - 5 of working experience in the manufacturing industry
- Customer-oriented / focused, proactive monitoring of existing IT environment.
- Excellence in oral and written skills in the English language and local languages
- Experience in project implementation and installation
Experience / Certifications in:
- Implemented project-based infrastructure projects
- Added advantage - new IT technologies e.g. virtualization, BO.
- Added advantage-WAN/LAN/PABX components eg. Switches, Routers
