JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent customer and sales support skills.
- Business and sales savvy with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Provide inputs to the management for process improvements and plan definition.
- Mostly an individual contributor but capable of independent decision making. Serves as an accountable resource.
- Capable of “manning’ the Customer Care support hotline, with a focus on customer satisfaction metrics.
- Responsibilities include performing a diverse scope of assignments in the support of the sales managers, the marketing department and factory through direct interactions with customers, distributors and channel partners.
- Responsible for supporting accounts in a key region or district. May travel to customer/ channel partner site for training and meetings.
- Possess full knowledge and understanding of industry best practices and company policies and procedures. Solves dynamic problems and provides creative solutions.
- Receives few instructions from the direct manager on routine work and general instructions on new projects or assignments.
- Negotiates “win-win” deals; keeps everyone’s best interests in mind even when the situation is not clearly defined.
- Constantly seeks information to understand customers better and to identify and influence customers’ actual and perceived needs.
Position Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or other related qualifications.
- Minimum 6 years of sales experience in an Inside Sales, marketing or sales support role and experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Strong interpersonal skills and outgoing personality with an ability to develop and build strong relationships.
- Candidates must have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
- A competitive attitude with a driven desire to deliver results and succeed.
- Highly organized with strong time and task management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Service oriented attitude, superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly developed sense of responsiveness, both timely and complete.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills including advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in Japanese will be preferred in order to liaise with the Japanese-speaking customers.
- Candidates should be prepared to work on shifts.
