JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:
·Responsible for the overall project direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of specific projects to ensure alignment with company strategy, commitments and goals.
·Define the overall project tasks and lead the planning and implementation of projects in terms of resource management and timelines.
·Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables and responsible for the clear communication of the same to relevant parties.
·Assemble and coordinate project staff or team members (internal and/or external parties).
·Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive actions and accountability for their assigned work.
·Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
·Provide project guidance, direction and support to team members.
·Manage the necessary project budget and resources allocation with the necessary variation orders.
·Track project deliverables, periodic monitoring, review and report on the development status to the respective stakeholders.
·Incorporate, implement and manage project changes, identify potential crises, devise a contingency plan and interventions to achieve project outputs.
·Proactively manage changes in project scope.
·Ensure consistent quality assurance.
·Conduct project post mortems and create recommendation reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
·Develop the best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Job Requirements:
·Minimum Bachelor Degree
·Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager with full-cycle, end-2-end project delivery including experiences in managing a data centre buildup as well as experience in the construction industry.
·Extensive major projects experience in multi-discipline, multi-contracts projects < MYR 5M
·Experience in managing projects in accordance with the Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) 2006 building contract is preferred
·Well-versed in MS Project
