JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Objective
As the Learning and Development Manager, Asia, you will be the ambassador for the implementation of our Company’s group-wide leadership development programs in Asia. You will deliver high quality programs, whilst balancing global and regional L&D initiatives and building strong, credible and impactful relationships with key Asia stakeholders. You will be part of an L&D community of practice globally and in APAC that promotes the best practices and knowledge sharing.
Job Responsibilities
· Oversee and drive the implementation of the Group’s leadership academy programs throughout Asia. This includes delivery of LSI (Life Styles Inventory) feedback and facilitation of the Company’s Leader Program and People Manager Program.
· Drive a learning culture throughout the Company’s Asia region, delivering innovative and quality L&D solutions and, where possible, identifying synergies with the Company’s Australian entity.
· Provide input and implement an L&D tactical plan for the Company in Asia, aligned to global L&D strategy, considerate of regional learning and organizational development needs.
· Collaborate with Asia’s senior management teams to identify and prioritize regional learning and development needs.
· Manage ongoing training vendor activities including negotiating vendor agreements, providing input into/ reviewing program design.
· Manage L&D budget and align spend to regional and global strategic objectives.
· Manage the design/implementation of organizational development initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
Education:
Tertiary qualified in either Human Resources, Psychology, Education or related discipline
Skills & Experience:
· Demonstrated experience in either a Learning and Development, Organisational Development or HR Management position
· Prior multi-country and cross-cultural experience would be highly regarded
· Experience in designing and facilitating a range of management, leadership and development programs, across all levels
· Demonstrated ability to deliver creative solutions whilst balancing both quality and cost.
· Exposure to, and accreditation in Human Synergistic products, particularly LSI (Life Styles Inventory), would also be highly desirable but not essential
