JOB DESCRIPTION
Objective
Acting as a sparring partner to the Strategic Finance Controller and the business, offering business-oriented insights which provide robust challenge and add value to support decision making.
The Controlling Analyst will be focusing on the analysis of Our Client's topline, and its main drivers, being:
• Pricing
• Logistic cost
• Market evolution (Customer and Competition follow-up)
Responsibilities and Tasks1. Monthly reporting tasks
- Build the monthly sales volumes flash
- Build and update a sales dashboard with volume and price information
- Build and update the sales variance analysis
- Build and update a sales forecast tool
2. Market Analysis:
- Play a key role in the implementation and roll-over of the market analysis tool that is being built by Our Client. Act as a point of contact for all stakeholders.
- Build a tool to analyse the profitability of Our Client's competitors in Asia
3. Budgeting
- In the budget process, take the ownership of the sales budget process and tools (SAP/BW). Prepare and update the budget jointly with the sales teams
4. Assist the Strategic Finance Controller in the preparation of the:
- Monthly results presentation
- Ad-hoc analysis requested by senior management / sales team
