JOB DESCRIPTION
- Main person in charge of the Maxis Postpaid brand and responsible for design/management the postpaid marcomm roadmap
- Scope encompasses: advertising, digital marketing, social strategy, customer engagement strategies, thought leadership and sponsorship, quarterly A&P budget planning, as well as long-term brand and transformation strategy
- The role supports: All postpaid Products & Services (Mobile Plans, Devices Fix, Digital Services, Roaming, Loyalty programmes, MyMaxis App) and related segments
- Specifically the role requires deep cross-divisional coordination in order to transform customer perceptions of Maxis and to be successfulthis person must influence how the Maxis brand behaves and interacts with key segments – meaning product development teams, senior leadership, retail teams
What are you accountable for?
- LEAD and own total marcomm roadmap for postpaid – includes advertising, digital marketing, social strategy, customer engagement strategies, thought leadership and sponsorship, quarterly A&P budget planning, as well as long-term brand and transformation strategy. Manage and track on a monthly basis the marketing A&P spend to ensure it’s within budget
- LEAD Customer & Brand Strategy: Develop & articulate postpaid customer unmet needs & brand strategy – align MMT, SLT, CE
- LEAD Turn service/product/experience/solutions differentiators into brand differentiators: Innovative, game-changing ways to transform external perceptions of Maxis around UCE
- LEAD Align postpaid customer touchpoint experience company-wide: work with individual TP owners to align experience and customer interactions, customer-facing language with brand strategy, customize broad UCE language to specific line management area where necessary
- SUPPORT postpaid sales and revenue stimulation by managing always on postpaid marketing activities that generate leads, enquiries and walk-ins. Ensure postaid products are constantly having media exposure and media editorial coverage
- SUPPORT soft goodwill activities customer loyalty and engagement of Maxis’ most valuable customers and partners (e.g. associations)
What do you need to have for this role?
- Bachelors Degree - advanced education or fluency in business/finance/economics is strongly advantageous
- Total Work Experience: 4 to 6 years in any area of brand, marketing, digital marketing etc
- Exceptional ability to translate commercial ambitions into brand goals, strategies and activities
- Fluent in marcomm beyond traditional advertising – digital marketing experience is a must. Some experience with content marketing, content curation and/or content development
- A thinker, but also a doer – ability to multi-task, chaos-manage and enjoys work in a fast-paced, always-something-new environment
- Strong writing , story-telling skills – the ability to distill vast amounts of complex information into simple, persuasive and memorable messages - will be extremely useful in this role
