PURCHASING EXECUTIVE (JAPAN AIR FILTER)

Job Description

• Run the business for operation. Plans raw material and perform purchasing function efficiently to support departmental objectives/meeting company objectives and fulfill customer experience,
• Issue PO to local & overseas supplier and monitor delivery from supplier to ensure material availability for planned production schedule,
• Support Engineering/Maintenance/Sourcing/New Product Development/Production on consumable material by issuing Non-inventory Purchase (NIP) Order to sundry vendor,
• Set up and monitor/review Vendor Managed Inventory
• To create  or analyze and monitor vendor performance on delivery on time* quality conformity* cost effective and service,
• Negotiate with vendors for better cost and shorter lead time or good quality whenever there is opportunity such as project or volume purchase,
• Work closely with QA in coordinating reject materials with respective vendors,
• Coordinates with freight forwarders to ensure smooth deliveries for supporting production schedule,

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Administration/Management or any related field 
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field or manufacturing environment is required for this position.
• Knowledge/experience with IT Skill: Excel & Words & Outlook 
• Strong communication skill in both verbally & literally
• ·  Good organization and planning skills
• ·  Adaptability & Creativity & Commercial Awareness
• ·  Able multitask
• ·  Must have Driving License & Willing to travel
