JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's employee compensation and payroll affairs, ensuring all salary calculations are accurate and payments are made on time. You need to have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software operations. You will work closely with the HR team and vendors to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain employee payroll records, including but not limited to salary adjustments, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including but not limited to: basic data verification (attendance data, master data, etc.), interfacing with the entire salary calculation process, ensuring compliance with company requirements and national labour law regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll-related reports and records for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth processes and data accuracy.
  • Regularly update and maintain payroll systems and software.
  • Comply with data protection regulations to ensure the security and confidentiality of employee information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
  • English is the required working language; Chinese ability is a plus
  • At least 5+ years of experience in handling the full payroll process, plus vendor management experience.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR information systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks.
