JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Corporate Governance & Board Support
- Prepare and coordinate quarterly and annual corporate reports, including the Board & Management Discussion & Analysis, Sustainability Statement, market review, prospects, and strategic direction.
- Analyze the Company’s operational performance against strategic objectives and rationalize the corporate structure to align with business goals.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for corporate governance functions, including risk management, crisis management, business continuity planning, and ABAC compliance.
- Liaise with the Company Secretary on secretarial and governance matters, including preparation of Board and member resolutions, review of Board and Committee meeting notices, and other secretarial documentation.
- Maintain accurate statutory records and ensure timely updates in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan and coordinate Board meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGMs), Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs), press briefings, and other key corporate events.
- Reporting & Bursa Malaysia Compliance
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and timely submission of the Company’s Annual Report in full compliance with Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market Listing Requirements (MMLR).
- Work closely with the Company Secretary and Finance Department to ensure accurate, complete, and timely corporate disclosures.
- Manage the end-to-end process of quarterly reporting, annual reporting, and AGM-related documentation.
- Prepare and review corporate announcements and public disclosures in accordance with Bursa Malaysia and other regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate the compilation, verification, and disclosure of data for the Company’s Sustainability Statement.
- Ensure sustainability and ESG reporting complies with Bursa Malaysia’s requirements and aligns with relevant international standards and frameworks.
- Investor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support quarterly and annual results presentations, investor relations sessions, and banker meetings, including preparation of presentation materials and briefing notes.
- Manage stakeholder communications and address inquiries from investors and external parties in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain investor and stakeholder communication materials, including corporate profiles, investor presentations, press releases, and performance updates.
- Coordinate investor relations activities such as analyst briefings, site visits, engagement sessions, and media events.
- Ad-Hoc Assignments
- Undertake special projects or assignments as directed by Senior Management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Administration, Business Administration, Law (LLB), or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the property development or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of public-listed company operations, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Professional membership with MIA, MAICSA, or other relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
- Well-versed in the Companies Act 2016, Listing Requirements, Corporate Governance and other related regulations
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to produce professional communications, reports, and presentations.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines independently.
