JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Responsible for the development of Segment sales for Malaysia and Singapore (direct customers, distributors, integrators, key accounts) and reinforcement of customer satisfaction. Achieve sustainable and profitable growth aligned with group strategy.

Missions & Activities

Missions

  • Promote and sell the Company’s range of marking solutions, services & quality.
  • Build customer base, i.e., end users, dealers, and manufacturers of automotive parts, OEM Tier 1 & Tier 2, E&E, components market.

Activities

  • Map, identify and drive new profitable business/ business area in respect of existing / new applications, product mix and product lines for customers
  • Identify annual potential for new business, including growth and profitability projection over a 3-5-year horizon.
  • Plan, forecast, and monitor sales for new business for a longer horizon with revenues expected & plan resource deployment for effective sales productivity.
  • To liaise with internal and external stakeholders for better communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Orders win or loss analysis, as well as competition mapping
  • Playing consultant role for customers, distributors and internal teams and organising necessary need-based training
  • Follow up on market conditions, changing customer policy, product line needs & production trends.
  • Identify and communicate the new business opportunities in terms of new products, new applications, new customers, and new ways of doing business
  • Closely monitor the outstanding accounts & receivables and prepare a plan for reductions
  • Fixing & execution of Leading KPI's & Skill matrix for the team
  • Monthly forecast of sales for value and volume
  • Develop customer relationships for business growth, customer satisfaction and market penetration
  • Formulate and effectively communicate the value proposition to the customer. Participate in customer integration projects and provide support in implementation.
  • Identify & execute customer events through structured Tech Days/Trainings. Active participation in exhibition management.
  • Adding new distributors. Distributor development to achieve target sales through the distributor network to expand the reach and SOB (share of business)
  • Recording & updating customer data, i.e. contact details, company info, quotations, project follow-up updates, visit details in CRM
  • Representation and supporting brand enhancement and GVT values

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering with experience in sales and marketing/a similar Business
  • Knowledge in mechanics, automation
  • Knowledge of IT tools (Office suite, CRM, ERP, CAD/CAD software)
  • 5-10 years of relevant working experience
  • High technical & analytical competence and knowledge about industrial products.
  • Good communication, presentation, negotiation, & Result orientation
