JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the whole Quality Department at the site
• Defining, determining, negotiating and agreeing on company quality management system and procedures, standards and specifications.
• Develop proactive approaches and provide strategic direction to implement quality standards and procedures for regulatory compliance to meet company needs
• Setting quality requirements for suppliers for incoming raw materials and working closely with SQE to ensure suppliers are meeting the standards of requirements.
• Assessing customer requirements to ensure meeting expectations.
• Develop and execute quality tools, processes, and projects while influencing the engineering & manufacturing plant's quality teams to improve product quality
• Ensure products and processes meet all specifications and requirements before approving the release to mass production
• Writing management and technical reports and customer charters.
• Responsible for staffing the Quality department and ensuring training of employees; planning, assigning, and measuring work; development of staff, talent assessments and succession planning
• Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
• Directing objectives to maximize profitability, minimize customer complaints and maintain product quality.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 15 years of working experience in Quality Engineering in an Electronic and Electrical manufacturing environment
• At least 8 years of people management experience
• Experience in Contract manufacturing/EMS/PCBA, Box Build and SMT will be an added advantage
• Self-motivated and aiming for continuous improvement in all areas
