JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

As the Head of Supply Chain Management for our group of companies, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, with a special focus on warehouse management systems and inventory control. You will be responsible for driving the efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless inventory management, and fostering collaboration across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement, production planning, and logistics.
• Implement and enhance warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline processes, improve inventory accuracy, and enable real-time visibility into stock levels.
• Lead and coordinate inventory control activities, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and implementing best practices to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and sales, to align supply chain activities with business objectives and customer demand.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations and inventory management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, with a particular focus on warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical practices in all supply chain activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven at least experience of 10 years in supply chain management, with a strong emphasis on warehouse operations, warehouse management systems, and inventory control.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and experience in implementing or optimizing such systems.
• Solid understanding of inventory control methodologies, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and inventory optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving supply chain objectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with procurement, production planning, and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on driving operational excellence and implementing best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
