JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

• Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decision-making.
• Work closely with other departments, helping communicate financial performance and identity areas for improvement.
• Oversee functions of financial/management accounting, financial management and taxation of the Company.
• Ensure financial statements are in compliance with the requirement of FRS and other statutory authorities.

• Forecasting and Scenario Planning: Utilize financial models and historical data to create accurate financial forecasts. Perform scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of different business scenarios and provide insights on the organization's financial viability and strategic decision-making.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to evaluate the company's performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyze key financial metrics, variances, and trends. Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders. Provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor the company's financial performance against budgeted targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify and communicate any significant deviations or risks. Develop performance metrics and reporting frameworks to facilitate performance evaluation.
• Financial Strategy and Decision Support: Provide financial insights and support to senior management and other departments. Collaborate on strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning. Conduct financial feasibility studies for potential projects or acquisitions.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and other financial disclosures. Support internal and external audit processes.
• Data Analysis and Systems: Leverage financial systems, tools, and software to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data. Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial analysis and reporting.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as Sales, Operations, and Human Resources,

Requirements

• Education Level: Minimum Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance or Professional Certificate Working Experience: min. 8 years of accounting experience, SAP or other ERP knowledge. Min 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Professional Qualification: Knowledge of Accounting Software, Accounting Standards, Company Act and Tax Act
• Skillset: strong excel skills, a strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and accounting principles.
