JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose 

Formulate and design a robust Performance Management, Organizational Design, Culture Management & Employee Engagement philosophy, framework and practices to attract, reward, recognize and retain human capital who will effectively drive the organization’s strategic business objectives through a culture of high-performance and strong core values.

Responsibilities

Performance Management

  • Formulate, drive and lead the performance management philosophy, framework and initiatives to drive the company's Performance.
  • Engage and build strong work relations with internal stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive performance management initiatives and contribute towards the achievements of a high-performance culture.
  • Lead, manage and facilitate the performance management and assessment for Senior Management; 1-to-1 sessions, periodical performance review, etc.
  • Lead the assessment and review of organizational staff performance management and
  • identify appropriate interventions to ensure relevant and practical performance systems to drive and sustain organizational performance
  • Drive the development and review of performance management policies and guidelines to keep abreast with best practices aligned with Proton's objective

Performance Improvement Program (PIP)

  • Formulate, drive and lead the Performance Improvement Program philosophy, framework and initiatives to drive the company's Performance.
  • Engage and build strong work relations with internal stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive Performance Improvement Programs (PIP) initiatives to ensure the management of poor performers.
  • Consults and facilitates the HRBPs, Senior Management & Head of Divisions on the Performance Improvement Program for Proton
  • Drive the development and review of performance improvement program policies and guidelines to keep abreast with best practices aligned with Proton's objective

Organizational Design & HR Analytics

  • Lead and drive the Organizational Design, Organizational Structure, Job Description and Job Evaluation for the Group.
  • Overseeing all activities of the HR data analytics for Human Capital.
  • Leads initiatives relating to the optimization of existing departmental policies and leads initiatives that relate to individual department optimization leading to performance improvement across the business.
  • Formulate, drive and lead the OD & Analytics philosophy, framework and initiatives to drive the company's Performance.
  • Consults and facilitates the HRBPs, Senior Management & Head of Divisions on OD & HR Analytics for the company.

Culture Management

  • Lead and be accountable for setting our culture transformation strategy and developing the programs that enable our team to deliver our business and brand strategy. Working closely with the company's Senior Management to drive the culture transformation.
  • Define and manage the creation of a Culture Transformation Strategy and Framework to ensure the company's Leadership and People are ready and able to deliver on our business and brand strategy.
  • Design, develop and execute a system to measure and provide feedback on the organization’s culture and improvement program.
  • Establish and develop productive partnerships with Senior Management/Head of Divisions, HRBPs and other senior leaders in order to inculcate the company's Culture and understand their particular objectives, environment and challenges and work collaboratively to solve these from a leadership and culture perspective.
  • Influence and engage Senior Leaders and key stakeholders to actively participate in Culture programs and activities and ensure alignment of solutions with individual business needs and constraints.
  • Facilitate sharing of Culture best practices and knowledge across the organisation.
  • Continually evaluate culture interventions and frameworks for business and individual impact, scalability and alignment to strategy.

Employee Engagement

  • Lead and be accountable for developing strategies to improve employee engagement, and may manage programs designed to foster it, such as employee recognition programs, wellness programs and other activities aimed at creating a positive work environment and driving the company's performance.
  • Strategize and develop an employee engagement framework to create a compelling experience that shifts mindsets and behaviours to drive long-term engagement and business impact.
  • Working closely with Proton’s Senior Management to drive Employee Engagement.
  • Nurturing culture and engagement while overseeing strategies focused on improving the experience between managers and employees.
  • Define and manage the development of an Employee Engagement Strategy and Framework to ensure the company's Leadership and People are ready and able to deliver on our business and brand strategy.
  • Provide internal advisory to initiate ideas across the organization that influence strategy, engagement, and a collaborative culture that drives pride, passion and advocacy at the company

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources/Business Management/Accounting/Finance/OD or any related field from any recognised university.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of working experience, with at least 5 years of experience at a Managerial level.
  • Technical knowledge and expertise in Performance Management, Performance Improvement Programs, Organizational Design & Development, Company Culture Management and Employee Engagement.
  • A general understanding of full-spectrum HR disciplines (recruitment, selection, learning and development, and industrial relations) will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of employment laws, regulatory requirements and compliance
