JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
- Build the supply chain within the company & group level;
- Plan, identify and hire qualified resources, if any, to meet the business roadmap;
- Ensure the entire group supply chain strategy is in order; to maximise efficiency and productivity of the business and Davis Group as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Set up an efficient and optimised Supply Chain Management structure with the company & Davis Group;
- Implement and manage end-to-end supply chain strategy, process and operation;
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders within the company & group for effective operations of the Supply Chain Management processes;
- End-to-end Supply Chain Management will include but not be limited to:
- Material, Production & Delivery Planning;
- Sourcing, Procuring and Buying of Materials & Components – Direct or Indirect;
- Virtual IPO (International Purchasing Office) set-up;
- Warehouse and Logistics (local & overseas deliveries)
- Performing any other tasks as and when required
Requirements
- Qualification
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistic & Warehouse Management or equivalent;
- Experience
- Minimum 6 years of comprehensive working experience with a Supply Chain Management organisation with responsibilities ranging across planning and procurement;
- Behavioural Competencies
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer solutions;
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams;
- A person who follows up and follows through on work commitments;
- Technical / Functional Competencies
- Strong planning skills within a manufacturing environment with a logical and systematic approach to work;
- Strong knowledge of international direct & indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes;
- Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing & managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs;
- Good analytical & communication skills;
- Strong presentation skills with good negotiation and prospecting capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership quality - able to lead and motivate the team within the department and collaborate within teams;
- Good functional and hands-on knowledge in ERP/SAP systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite);
- Fluent in English, BM & Mandarin, written & spoken.
