JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the role

Implement the Corporate Planning solutions for our clients, as well as support solutions previously implemented. Solutions Consultants are at the front end of the software of the organization, establishing trust with clients by helping them solve their business problems and improve their processes. Report to the APAC Services Manager 

Responsibilities

  • Be a valued team member of the APAC Professional Services team
  • Understand client business requirements and processes, and implement software solutions in the Corporate Planning suite in Malaysia, across APAC or remotely
  • Deliver key project initiatives on schedule, on budget, and to specification
  • Provide ad hoc support to clients in the region
  • Resolve any issues using appropriate conflict resolution skills
  • Ensure that client needs are fulfilled by providing professional, helpful, high-quality service and assistance before, during and after the customer's requirements are met
  • Solve challenging technical support questions related to the solution suite
  • Work effectively across internal departments (product development, quality assurance, sales, marketing)
  • Contribute to the company knowledge base and operational efficiency
  • Assist in maintenance and improvement of the training materials, product documentation and implementation standards
  • Provide solution training to clients and employees

Requirements

  • University Degree, preferably in a technical or business discipline (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Economics) required
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities with resilience to obstacles and an internal drive to find the solution
  • A good team player working effectively with cross-functional teams and global teams
  • Oil and gas industry or software experience as well as familiarity with the upstream planning space
  • Working knowledge of economic and financial modelling and performance management metrics
  • An understanding of the needs and expectations of our clients and the ability and willingness to meet these expectations and develop trust with clients
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the confidence and presentation skills necessary to present your findings to senior clients and staff
  • Advanced computer or Excel skills or both, including software and database management
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally, up to 40% at times, providing on-site consulting work to clients when required
