JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Company's financial accounting, reporting and internal controls functions.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial and management accounts as well as cash flows management and forecasts.
• Oversee analysis of financial results and the preparation of reports to the leadership team
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax consultants and other relevant parties.
• Provide analysis and suggest systems, process, and procedural improvements.
• Involve in advice and analyses for potential deals and corporate exercise.
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory and statutory filings.
• Interpret and review company performance against budgeting figures and key accounting ratios.
• Oversee receivable management and credit control.
• Ensure compliance to the MRFS, Companies’ Act, Income Tax Act, and group policies
• Any other duties deemed relevant by the Group CFO or the leadership team.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy (and/or recognized professional qualification) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience with in-depth knowledge of IFRS (and MFRS).
• 5 years Big-4 audit firm experience preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management skills are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with attention to details and accuracy, while being able to provide crisp and clear summarized analysis.
• Strong communication and people management skills are necessary.
• Able to handle ambiguity and deliver outcomes within strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Emotional resilience and ability to withstand pressure on an ongoing basis.
• Competent in PC applications e.g., Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
