JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS
- Financial Magnitude
- Manage Minimum RM100 Million Plus logistics operations budget and varies depending on volume growth
- Financial Impact
- Prime: Has a high degree of control in delivering the financial target
JOB PURPOSE
- Manage the overall Group supply chain and logistics operation
- Oversees Operation Efficiency, Productivity, Cost and Deliverables to meet business objectives and satisfy customer service level.
JOB SUMMARY
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best-practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Responsible for the planning and execution/order management, MRP, control and delivery of CBU, CKD and Spare Parts according to the annual & monthly plan/order.
- Organize Sale & Operation (SNOP) meeting with related divisions.
- Material / components planning & ordering (MRP) by ensuring an optimum level of inventory at all time. Strategize the production plan for issues related to supply constraint from vendor & in-house components.
- Acquisition of new manufacturing technology, processing method & material, management and development of know-how.
- Manage, preparation, verification, submission and approval of excise, sales tax, duty drawback and CBU data to JPJ, Kastam.
- Plan & manage the departmental operation within the allocated budget.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Academic Qualification
- Supply Chain Management or similar discipline or equivalent experience
- Work Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing & Supply Chain operation, the automotive industry will be an advantage.
- Experience in the car manufacturing process inclusive Casting & machining, SAP, MRP, inventory system, logistic and project management.
- Good knowledge of Car manufacturing process inclusive Casting & machining, SAP, MRP, inventory system, logistic and project management.
- Skills / Knowledge
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing process MRP
- Total logistic operation for inbound & outbound~ Import & Export
- Planning & improvement, project management, Cost & volume trend analysis.
