JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the assigned Business Unit (BU) sales and profitability through execution of strategic marketing plans, as well as, gathering and prioritizing product and customer insights, defining the innovation strategy, and working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure the assigned business unit’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the BU performance and leverage business potential through projects and processes and deliver full plans implementation in all Regional SE Asia units, in cooperation with SEA Sales, Trade & Retail, and Marketing Communications.
- Coach, motivate and evaluate the performance of direct team reports and agencies constantly to ensure they acquire the necessary competencies to function effectively and developed to their fullest potential.
- Determine product range requirements within the product group, identifying new product opportunities and preparing innovation plans to ensure a strong innovation pipeline and keep a strong market share.
- Deliver above the line and below the line marketing communications for the category in collaboration with Regional Communication Manager and the local units to increase brand strength in our markets and create value
- Conduct effective market analysis and understand customer insights to develop successful product ranges. Monitor competitor activity to evaluate the market position and identify opportunities for improvement in order to strengthen our competitive edge and acquire more market shares.
- Responsible for online marketing programs which aim to build stronger engagement with dealers’ network and end-users. Part of the committee for digital and e-commerce development and deployment in SE Asia.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with similar working experiences of 10 to 15 years
- Experience in Marketing and leadership is required
- Candidate with prior FMCG marketing experience will be having an advantage
