JOB DESCRIPTION
Scope
The SD functional resource will be part of the global delivery centre within Our Client's IT organization. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the SD requirements based on Organizational needs. You will collaborate with internal teams in monitoring and maintaining of master data, interfaces and functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Involved in requirement gathering sessions with Process experts to define business requirements and needs.
- Collaborate with users and assist in development & customization.
- Analyzing and resolving issues reported by the client by providing appropriate code fixes/ configuration changes
- Working in close coordination with other functional teams to aid the overall project to achieve the tasks necessary to have the solution available meeting business requirements.
- Help identify and access all-new application technologies and upgrade to all product development activities.
- Assist to increase performance and stability of implemented solutions.
- Working on enhancements of existing solutions depending upon Business needs.
- Monitor the efficient integration of sub-systems and validate the correctness of data transfer.
- Documenting production support specifications & providing knowledge to the respective teams.
Technical Skills
- Must have 6+ years of experience as SAP SD Consultant in global end-to-end SAP project.
- Foreign Trade handling (incl. alignment with business, understand the business, develop process) – Intrastat/Extra stat, ATLAS – periodic declarations (mainly EMEA).
- Knowledge in REA Customizing / Transactions.
- SAP Workflows.
- Maintenance of condition technique (Output messages, Pricing): Cross-region & cross-solution.
- Implementation of OSS notes and further customization of the system.
- Automation of test cases and scenarios for future needs and upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain correctness of master data, interfaces, and functionalities in use.
- ABAP knowledge could be added advantage.
