JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
This is a technical role as part of an application development team working on web-based systems with the responsibility for the full-lifecycle design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of web applications. Candidate needs to be dynamic and adaptive in working with people of different cultures and able to learn fast on the technology and application aspects. The Junior Software Developer would work closely with senior developers, project teams, and customers to understand the client's business model, requirements and translate them into software technical requirements and design documents.
Responsibilities
- To design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale applications.
- Perform system analysis, database design, process design, and develop solutions to fulfill business requirements.
- To participate in analysis and translate requirements into technical design.
- To develop website and web application development using the Microsoft stack including .NET, C#, Visual Studio
- To develop various .Net and Java software solutions.
- To develop and execute unit test cases.
- To assist in resolving/troubleshooting products and revolving technical issues in multiple applications.
- To research new technologies and software architectures.
- Other assignments that might be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent. Professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Required skill(s): C#/ASP.NET, JAVASCRIPT, and MVC
- Preferred skill(s): Java, J2EE, Web Services, AJAX, Android, and IOS Framework and other supporting technologies which are MS SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, Qlik Sense and etc.
- Strong knowledge in Software Development Processes.
- Experience with relational databases (eg. SQL Server, etc). Must be able to demonstrate solid skills in database and application performance tuning
- Experience with business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization tools would be highly beneficial.
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Able to work well in a project team and a team player with excellent Analytical and Problem Solving skills
- Able to approach issues and projects with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, innovation, and quality with minimum supervision.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 2 year(s) or above of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
