JOB DESCRIPTION

Objective

The Business Operations department is responsible for originating and structuring Islamic Assets. As a key member of the Team, you will oversee the program administration activities to ensure the smooth running of the issuance program.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Asset, Issuance, and Settlement teams to ensure a smooth auction process in term of issuance, asset inclusion, and redemption of the Sukuk
  • Direct the activities of third support providers on the Issuance Program (e.g. Corporate Administrator, Trustee, Issuing & Paying Agency, Account Bank, Delegate)
  • Manage the relationship with Rating Agencies at the Program level
  • Supervise the program’s documented priority of payments and maintain cash flow modeling
  • Prepare all the regular conduit management reports to Primary Dealers, Rating Agency, and other updates such as financial and compliance reporting, historical performance, etc.
  • Coordinate the annual update of the Information Memorandum with external legal advisors
  • Prepare and support the renewal process of the Primary Dealership agreement
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the existing framework

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Economics/ Banking/ Islamic Finance/ Engineering
  2. At least 5 years of experience in the debt capital markets, securitization, or management of ABCP/CP conduit
  3. Sound knowledge of fixed income and structured finance markets. Experience in ABCP conduit is preferable
  4. Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to convey complex concepts and issues concisely
  5. Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude required
  6. Sound judgment capable of developing independent opinion
  7. Strong organizational skills, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure
  8. Able to work in an international environment with a strong team spirit
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably one other language
