Job Description

You will be working closely with the Business Units and Corporate Finance and responsible for the overall financial aspects in Malaysia Office.

Your role and responsibilities include the following:

• Overseas AR functions and responsible for daily account transactions, invoicing and credit control.
• Monitor and control cash position with updating of weekly cash report
• Responsible for AP functions by verifying and checking vendors’ invoices with proper approval process.
• Preparation of vendor’s payments by telegraphic transfers and/or cheque
• Prepare internal bank transfer for monthly payroll payment as requested by HR
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and accounts / finance related matters
• Handling GST submission and reporting in accordance to timeline
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, government bodies on audit, taxation and financial matters
• Provide timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial and management reports to Corporate Finance
• Implement relevant policies and internal control procedures in line with Corporate Finance

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy
• 2 – 4 years relevant experience preferably in MNCs environment with US GAAP knowledge
• Good knowledge in accounting and book keeping
• Meticulous and detailed with strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Proactive, resourceful and able to excel under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and meet tight timeline
• Self motivated, resourceful and result oriented team player
• Possesses good organization and multitasking skills
