JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities
- To execute the UHF, HF and LF RFID tag design process, including to understand the market requirements and to design new products based on those requirements.
- To perform CAD drawings of antennas, RF simulation of antennas, RF measurements of RFID products and summarize results in English.
- Responsible for handling Integrated Circuit related issues both internally and towards our external UHF, HF & LF IC suppliers.
- Application of test development and execution (UHF, HF and LF) and competitor product analysis for different end-use areas e.g. retail, automotive, pharmaceutical, library and others.
- Operative problem solving including technical problems from the factories with claims and issues of our customers globally. To support failure analysis and corrective action planning.
- Antenna design and data management. Ensure all antenna designs have needed quality and performance targets and tolerances.
- Participate in product technology and manufacturing technology development projects, process development projects and product development projects.
- Inventing new patentable innovations and analyzing competitor IP in his/her specialty area.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics). RF and wireless electronics studies are preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in RF circuit design or related field is required for this position.
- Highly motivated in performing work with minimal supervision.
- Team player and able to demonstrate good initiative in problem-solving.
- Good communication skills and able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
