JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
A hands-on E-Commerce Manager with a strong background in E-Commerce project implementation and eStore management. The successful candidate will work directly with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the deliverables fall within the applicable scope and timeframe. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
Responsibilities
- Ensure various functional aspects of projects are well coordinated and delivered on time.
- Perform overall day-to-day management of the project to ensure that the project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints.
- Report project progress to Regional Head of Business Operations to ensure the project's overall direction and integrity.
- Actively manage the project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
- Manage project scope and escalate issues where necessary to the steering committee.
- Liaise with vendors or third parties in relation to the project.
- Ensure that the project is tested and that test plans are aligned with project requirements for Quality Assurance.
- Ensure master data preparation (product catalog, customer records, shipping matrix, etc.) powering the eStore are ready at each defined stage of the project as well as post-go-live maintenance.
- Monitor day-to-day eStore operations to ensure the customer shopping experience is top-notched.
- Provide excellent customer experience to eStore visitors through use case analysis, customer feedback and other channels to gain insights to improve the overall system and processes.
- Develop and refine the front-end eStore operation (order taking), together with back-end order fulfillment/final shipment process to continuously improve conversion rate.
- Perform competitive website analysis & identify areas for improvement.
- Employ various digital marketing tools to drive traffic to the site and increase conversion rate.
- Perform root-cause analysis on issues detected related to eStore and order fulfillment process.
- Perform in-depth analysis and reports showing various stakeholders how well the eStore is supporting various business objectives.
- Conduct regular dialogs with key stakeholders to provide status updates and gather feedback for continuous improvement of the eStore.
- 20-30% travel is required in SEA.
