Job Scope

Develop, implement and enhance the Group Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Risk Profile through risk identification, analysis, evaluation, treatment, monitoring and reporting in line with the Group’s ERM Journey Map to ensure risk management is embedded seamlessly as a business and organizational culture based on good governance and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the implementation of the Group Annual Strategic Risk Plan and ERM Journey Map by facilitating Risk Owners in designing and implementing the appropriate interventions to ensure reliability and effectiveness of the Strategic Risk Plan and Journey Map in strengthening Risk Management culture across the Group.
• Plan and facilitate the implementation of the Group risk treatment for strategic risks involving compounding effects by identifying integrated business risks, specifying strategic risk register, formulating and assigning risk treatment for line implementation, reviewing performance and recommending improvements to ensure holistic coverage of risk analysis in attaining business objectives and resilience.
• Interpret risk scenarios and trends impacting the Group by scanning emerging risk scenario, networking and benchmarking with internal and external risk associates, developing risk intelligence and forecast reporting to management and recommending risk intervention and opportunity capitalization strategies for management decisions to mitigate the risk.
• Monitor and update the Group Risk Profile and compounding effects through coordination and integration with relevant internal / external parties, conducting and facilitating internal workshops, assessing the effectiveness of risk controls, recommending risk treatments and reviewing the implementation of agreed risk initiatives to strategize risk mitigation in providing assurance to the shareholders.
• Design and communicate the Group Enterprise Risk Report by establishing a mechanism to collate and consolidate risk information from Risk Owners, reviewing changing business drivers and environment, translating the impact of business key risk indicators (KRIs) and recommending the way forward to provide early warnings to the management and facilitate decision making.
• Plan and implement KLCC Group integrated Business Continuity and Recovery Plans by soliciting inputs from all stakeholders during crisis mode, coordinating performance evaluation involving relevant stakeholders and implementing interventions to enhance the effectiveness of the plans to assure robustness of Business Continuity and Recovery strategies.
• Facilitate the enhancement of risk management capabilities across KLCC Group by evaluating and translating the content of risk management capability development module for Strategic Risk Planning and Risk Profiling to be specific and effectively address various levels and constituencies within KLCC Group and organizing in-house risk management awareness programs to ensure institutionalization of sustainable risk culture across the Group.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounts / Business / Economics or Engineering
• Preferably a minimum of 7 years of working experience with strong analytical skill and ability to bring independent and impartial advice into the organization’s decision-making process.
• At least 3 years of experience in risk management or internal audit or financial management function.
