JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Prepare regular reports for senior management
- Oversee staff compliance with OSHA regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Possess a Degree in Engineering (Civil/Geotechnical) or equivalent and have knowledge in Civil Engineering Basic Design.
- At least 10 years of working experience in civil/structural/infrastructure/geotechnical works
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Must be able to communicate in English and Malay
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an added advantage
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
