JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Plan, drive and lead the operational excellence strategies for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes e.g. Shop Floor Management.
- Ensure projects are integrated and aligned with business strategy and coordinated with the appropriate process owners to accomplish key goals.
- To utilize continual improvement methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Lean Thinking, Six Sigma and Kaizen principles for improved internal operations.
- Lead GAP and root-cause analysis for departmental procedures and recommend resolutions.
- Contribute knowledge and ideas to improve upon current processes resulting in reduced cycle times, improved quality, increased cost savings and uptime
Requirements
- Degree in any field.
- 3-5 years of working in a lean, six sigma or similar OpEx capacity in a manufacturing plant.
- Working experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Analytically strong, data-driven and numerate person
