JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

To manage and supervise all aspects of cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements of the company.

Key Accountabilities

• Cash management functions include planning, cash flow monitoring, hedging, managing bank accounts, electronic banking as well as the function of an in-house bank.
• Assist in sourcing financing to fund operations & support business growth
• Manage the internal capital market by investing and lending to subsidiaries
• Manage day-to-day liquidity to support the business needs and ensure adequate liquidity for working capital and managing the short-term investment portfolio
• Work with the business partners to optimize commercial cash flows
• Ensure accurate accounting of Treasury transactions and compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Design and implementation of hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks, primarily foreign currency cash flow exposure through the recommendation of executing derivative financial instruments, managing interest rate risk, currency risk and liquidity management.
• Essential in providing financing and treasury consultative advice
• Manage suppliers. Timely disbursement of payments in order to have smooth operations and supplier relationships
• Facilitating the Company’s relationships with commercial banks, credit rating agencies, payment service providers, lenders and investors.
• Recommend and implement new bank technologies, products and services to improve the cash cycle and simplify company operations.
• End to end payment process improvement and other ad hoc projects

Key Experiences and Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of direct experience in the field
• Knowledge in SAP
• Knowledge in telecommunication and internet banking cash management
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Able to work under tight timeline
